We are pleased to announce that Beniya Mukayu has been awarded 1 Michelin Key during the first – ever simultaneous global announcement of the “Michelin Guide – Michelin Key Hotels” held in Paris on October 8th, retaining our distinction given in July 2024.

The Michelin Key is a new distinction introduced in 2024 by the Michelin Guide to recognize outstanding hotel experiences. While the well-known Michelin Stars assess the quality of cuisine at restaurants, the Michelin Key highlights accommodations that offer the most impressive and high-quality stays.

Selections are based on five evaluation criteria established by Michelin, including architecture and interior design, quality of service, value for price, and the overall experience.
